Steve Harvey’s ex wife loses her $60 million mental anguish bid against TV personality… as she claimed he left her SUICIDAL amidst their split

Steve Harvey has prevailed in a $60 million lawsuit his ex-wife had filed against him.

The 61-year-old television personality was at the center of litigation involving ex Mary Harvey who claimed  mental anguish that left her longing to take her own life amidst their 2005 divorce.

The presiding judge in Los Angeles dismissed the case based on location, saying that since they got a divorce in Texas, that was the proper place to raise the issues in court, according to TMZ.

Mary had accused the Atlanta-based star in her eight-figure suit of damaging her soul, the outlet reported.

Mary had also accused Harvey of a number of crimes, including murder, kidnapping, torture and child endangerment, the outlet reported, in addition to intentional infliction of emotional distress, conspiracy against rights and breach of contract.

In the suit, which Mary filed last May, she accused Steve of leaving her emotionally drained amid their breakup, writing in court papers, ‘All was loss Mary L. Harvey was dead.’

In court papers, she said that the celebrity host tortured her ‘with the infliction of severe mental pain and suffering,’ ultimately leading her to ‘attempted suicide by self-medicating’ via ‘an effort to stop the pain,’ Entertainment Tonight reported.

The Family Feud host denied all of the accusations, as his lawyer Brandon Williams told ET, ‘Mr. Harvey vehemently denies any allegations set forth in the lawsuit.

‘The complaint is meritless, frivolous and the allegations are completely false. We will vigorously defend/counterclaim against the complaint.’

Steve and Mary had been married from 1996 thru 2005, and have a son named Wynton Harvey, now 20.

Steve went on to remarry his current spouse, Marjorie Elaine Harvey, in 2007, two years after his split from Mary.

The ubiquitous TV star was in a 14-year marriage with Marcia Harvey, producing three kids: twin daughters Brandi and Karli, 35, and son Broderick, 26.
