Masked burglars broke into Keanu Reeves’ Hollywood Hills home and stole guns.
According to the New York Post, the Los Angeles Police Department received an anonymous call about a possible break-in at the residence of “John Wick” star Keanu Reeves at around 7 p.m. on December 6. Police arrived but found no one.
About five hours later, an alarm went off at Keanu’s $7 million mansion.
Police arrived but the burglar had fled. Surveillance cameras showed several men wearing ski masks breaking windows and breaking into Keanu Reeves’ home.
The suspects took a gun from the house before fleeing. He was not home at the time.
Authorities have checked cameras around the actor’s residence. At the same time, they are paying special attention to the first anonymous call to investigate the incident.
This isn’t the first time Keanu’s home has been broken into. In 2014, the actor’s home was broken into twice.
At that time, TMZ reported that a woman in her 40s broke into the “John Wick” star’s mansion while the actor was sleeping on a chair in his study. He later woke up and encountered the woman. The actor calmly talked to the intruder and then called the police to resolve the matter.
Just a day later, another woman entered Keanu’s house when the house was unlocked and the actor was not home. This woman acted strangely, such as being naked and soaking in the pool.
Upon returning home, Keanu discovered the incident and contacted the police. The woman was then given a restraining order prohibiting her from coming near Keanu or his property.
Both women were later arrested and underwent psychiatric evaluations.
In early 2023, Keanu filed for and was granted a temporary restraining order against a 38-year-old man who claimed to be related to the actor, who broke into Keanu’s Hollywood Hills home six times between November 5, 2022, and January 20, 2023.
According to documents from authorities, this man constantly tried to contact the actor and shared posts on social networks, claiming to be Keanu’s blood relative.
